Carolans Own Baked Bananas
Baked Bananas done on the bbq or in the oven with Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur.

Yield: 4 servings
4 Ripe Bananas
4 oz Vanilla Extract
4 oz Brown Sugar
8 oz Carolans Irish Cream
1. Lay the bananas on their side in a shallow baking pan and cut a slit in each from the one inch below the stem to one inch above the base.
2. Carefully peel the slit open slightly and fill each banana with 1oz of brown sugar.
3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees on bake and place pan in oven. (or can be done on the bbq, place bananas directly on the bbq grill)
4. After 10 minutes take pan out (careful not to burn yourself) and pour 1 oz of vanilla extract into each of the slits.
5. Place back in oven and bake another 10 minutes.
6. Remove pan again and pour 1 oz of Carolans Irish Cream into each slit.
7. Place back in oven and bake for 3 minutes.
8. Remove pan and place each banana on a serving plate, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and pour 1 last oz of Carolans Irish Cream into each slit.
Enjoy!
Note: cooking time may vary depending on size of bananas. The consistency of the banana should be mushy but solid.
